
Place cubed bread into a large bowl. Pour melted butter over bread and mix. In another bowl combine eggs, sugar, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and vanilla. Mix together. place bread cubes into a glass casserole container. Pour in liquid mixture. Stir in sliced bananas. place in a pre-heated 375 F oven for 40-50 minutes.
Sauce:
Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add sugar, cornstarch, milk, corn syrup and vanilla.
Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until sauce comes to a full boil.
Then boil for 1 minute. place sauce in a bowl and serve on the side with the
warm bread pudding.
