Dissolve yeast in water. Mix milk, eggs, sugar, salt and melted butter together in a large bowl. Add about 4 cups flour and the yeast. Beat for 10 minutes with a stand mixer. Allow to rise till bubbly. Work in 2 to 3 more cups of flour. Place into a greased bowl and cover; allow to rise till double. Knead again for 10 minutes. Divide dough in half. Divide again into 3 parts. Work each piece into a 15 inch rope. Braid the dough, using 3 pieces. Allow to rise on a greased cookie sheet. Brush with egg yolk and water. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 25 - 30 minutes.
