
Using a large bowl combine bread flour, rye flour, yeast and salt. Mix together. In another large bowl combine the lukewarm water and the starter. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the liquid; 1 cup at a time. Place on a floured surface and knead for 10 minutes. Add walnuts and chopped prunes, continue to knead for another 2 minutes. Place dough into a greased bowl being sure to grease the top too. Cover and allow to rise till double in bulk about 1 hour. Pour out dough onto a floured surface again and punch down. Cut dough in half and create two round loaves. Cover again and allow to rise for 45 minutes. After make 2 diagonal slashes on top of the risen dough. Place bread into a 400 F oven for 35-40 minutes. Cool on a rack.
