In a large bowl add sourdough starter and water and mix with a wooden spoon. Add salt and whole wheat flour. Add one cup at a time. Do not add to much flour. You want the dough to be a little sticky. Place on a lightly flour surface and knead for 5 min. Place in an oiled bowl. Be sure to turn dough so it is coated with oil on all sides. Cover with plastic wrap. Let rise till double in size. That can take 8 - 10 hours or overnight. When dough has risen, punch down and cut into 2 equal sizes. Form into round loafs and place on a greased cookie sheet. Cover and let rise until double. Place loafs on a 450 F preheated cookie sheet. Spray some water on the sides of the stove. Turn heat down to 400 F for 35 - 40 minute. Sprinkle cold water on the loafs every few minutes for the first ten minutes. Or place a pan of boiling water on the bottom rack of the oven. Remove from oven and place on a wire rack to cool.
