
In a very large bowl, mix the water, honey and yeast. Set aside for 5-10 minutes. Add the salt to half the flour. Beat for 3 minutes. Turn out on floured board and knead in remaining flour. Knead well for 10 minutes. Place in greased bowl, turn to coat well, cover with plastic wrap, set aside for 1 hour to rise. Bring a large pot of water and 2 T. sugar to a boil. Punch down the dough and divide into 18 equal pieces. Shape each into a ball, flatten and poke a hole into each. Gently drop a few bagels into the water. Boil for 2 minutes,using a slotted spoon, remove and drain. Repeat with the rest of the bagels. Place on a greased cookie sheet and bake in pre-heated 400` oven for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
