Honey and Whole Wheat 2 Bread: Makes 2 loaves

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 2 1/2 cups warm water
  • 11/2 tablespoons instant yeast
  • 4 teaspoons salt
  • 5-7 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon dough enhancer
  • 1 cup bread flour
  • 1 cup 7-grain cracked

Method

In a large bowl combine honey, oil, warm water, yeast, dough enhancer, 7-Grain Cracked, bread flour, salt and 2 cups of the whole wheat flour in a large mixing bowl. As you mix add the remaining whole wheat flour 1/2 a cup at a time until the dough is thick. Place on a lightly floured surface and knead the dough for 7-10 minutes or until it is very smooth, elastic. Place dough in 2 loaf pans and cover with a damp cloth. Allow to double in size in a warm place. Bake dough in a preheated 350 F oven for 30 - 35 minute. Cool on a wire rack.
